When Snazzy came to live with us, he was 4 or 5 years old.  His name was Sassy, but since that's a girl's name, we renamed him Snazzy.  He's an absolute sweety!

Here's what we know about him.  He's originally from Arizona, then lived in Oregon for a time where he got in great shape running around on the sand dunes.  Then he moved in with a couple who is now getting (got) divorced.  While there, he lived with a Chinese crested and a coon hound.

On his second night with us, he dove under the covers in bed with me.  He did it with such a swift sure motion that I didn't have a chance to react.  We don't normally allow dogs under the covers.  But I thought, "What the heck?  He's soft and warm."  So that's where he slept every single night.  Until we moved to Las Vegas, that is, where it's warmer.  Now he only sleeps under the covers in the winter.

He took and did well in obedience classes where he barked at all the dogs except Red Dog. Red Dog was a greyhound and Snazzy wanted to play with him.

When we moved to Las Vegas, he ran all around the yard and you could tell he knew he was home.

He outlived Mamba and Pixie. But he had a heart murmur and that developed into congestive heart failure. He lived a year and a month after he started showing signs of weakness.

We will miss Snazzy greatly. He was a great lover boy. My Snazz Man. My whippet.
